We are delighted to announce our partnership with Ballywalter Farms, the equestrian base behind show jumping brothers Bertram and Harry Allen. Assisted by their sister April, the young German based riders are two of the most talked about talents in the world at the moment. Bertram Allen is one of Ireland's leading international riders and a regular competitor at Sweden's 5* shows, winning the Falsterbo Derby and the Stockholm Grand Prix to go with his Team Gold medal at the European Championships in Gothenburg. Harry was recently crowned double European Gold Medallist at the Pony European Championships and rewarded with being voted the Longines FEI Rising star for 2017.
Through our close relationship, the stallions from Ballywalters Farms will be made available fresh, chilled and frozen here in Stockholm for the Swedish market. Bertram has a close affection for Sweden after achieving incredible success in recent years at the big shows here. Amazed with the passion from the Swedish spectators at these shows we began discussing the industry and the quality of horses and riders coming out of Sweden. It was clear for us both to see that for a relatively small population, the success Swedish horses and riders in Show jumping, Eventing and Dressage is remarkable. Resulting from these discussions in Stockholm we have created the opportunity for breeders to use semen from some of the best stallions in the world.
Bertram’s most famous stallion, Romanov, retired in 2017 after being one of the most successful horses of recent times. His semen will be shipped chilled to Stockholm Seminstation four days per week in 2018, offering an amazing opportunity for Swedish breeders. We can also arrange for this semen to be delivered direct to any station you wish in Sweden. In addition to the Ballywalter stallions competing at the top level in the sport, we also have access to some incredible young stallions which will be stationed here in Sweden.
